Protein fuel for families that can be prepared in advance for those busy mornings.
1 cup of cooked quinoa
1 tbsp freshly grated root ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped hemp seed
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup flaked almonds
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1. Melt coconut oil in a saucepan on a very low heat.
2. Stir in cinnamon, turmeric and ginger.
3. Stir in quinoa, hempseed and coconut.
4. Serve with your favourite yogurt and fruits.
5. Seen served here with vanilla soy yoghurt and pumpkin seeds.
Notes:
Can be made in advance.
Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container for upto two days.
